New Under 19s Team

Northallerton Town FC are delighted to announce a successful partnership between both the senior and junior club. The 2 clubs have worked together to establish a strong U19s side to develop young talent ready for progression through to Northern League Football. The U19s will compete in the newly formed North Riding League. 

The management team of Jamie Tosh and Dave Skelton will oversee the U19s and were upbeat about the future of the team ; "Following discussions with both Junior and senior Northallerton clubs, the vision was the same. Help develop local football talent into senior football. With a very strong pool of footballers over 15 years old the timing for this project was ideal. We are looking forward to the challenge of developing local players to a standard Northallerton Town FC require to compete in the Northern league".

The progression is already taking place with Jake Mcnoughton and Jack Stapley been invited to train with Northallerton Town 1st team by manager Darren Trotter. Aaron Skelton is also demonstrating potential by putting pen to paper for the 1st team and also playing several games for the 1st team in pre season including a notable performance against Darlington FC.

The U19s will play their North Riding League games at The Calvert Stadium with the first home game being Sunday 17th September vs Middleton Rangers 1.30pm kick off. Please lend your support to this joint project and spread the word.
